Building our communities through studio-led programs.

Office Hours

Office Hours at O/M is an event series that aims to redistribute historically privileged design knowledge through targeted personal initiatives. At O/M Studio we strive, through all of our projects, to create a more equitable future. Privilege, unfortunately, withholds valuable information from underserved communities and hinders career growth. We endeavor to redistribute and transfer that knowledge through intentional and personalized programs and events.

The mentorship program consists of one-on-one, open-ended meeting times between design industry professionals and a member of the O/M staff. O/M partners with design organizations to provide mentorship to underserved communities. Past mentees have used this time to develop brand identity decks, practice for product design interviews, chat about the industry, define career trajectory, and more. Designers of all career levels are encouraged to participate.

Pro bono

O/M’s Pro-Bono program is an effort to provide our services at low or no cost to qualified clients who would benefit from our design expertise. In the past, we’ve partnered with values-aligned organizations like La Cocina to offer our design services for free.

During our time together with pro-bono clients, we provide strategic direction to identify the areas of impact that would be most beneficial to the organization and then we treat the project like any other. This allows us to deliver the same level of quality for each of our clients, pro-bono or not.

If you’re interested in becoming a part of this program as a client, or if you’d like to partner with us to donate your services, please reach out to Ben at
