OM Moves to Embedded Design Team Augmentation

Today, I’m excited to announce that OM is now exclusively focused on design team augmentation. When I founded OM in 2013, the goal was to build a studio that could help companies design incredible products. Over the years, we’ve worked with a variety of clients—from innovative startups to large enterprises—supporting them in reaching their product goals.

But as the industry has evolved, so have the needs of our clients. By embedding designers directly within companies, we are able to provide the kind of support that feels less like an outsourced service and more like an extension of our clients’ teams.

Why are we doing this now?

The main reason for this change is simple: flexibility. Companies today often need specialized design talent that can integrate seamlessly with their existing teams without the long-term commitment of a permanent hire. Our augmentation model enables us to offer exactly that—experienced designers who work alongside our clients’ teams, adapting to their processes and aligning with their product and business goals.
